Terms of use

Plain terms for using CFETI and its tools. By using the site, you agree to them.

Effective October 24, 2026

Using the tools

CFETI is published by Korerium LLC. You may use the site and its tools for any lawful purpose, free of charge. Do not use them to break the law, to harm others, or to interfere with the site.

The tools are provided as is

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Browsers and files vary, and we cannot promise that a tool will work on every device or with every file.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for checking your results before you rely on them or share them. For example, MetaClear removes embedded data from photos, but it does not change what a picture shows, so look at the image yourself before you share it. Keep your own copies of anything important.

PhotoWard encrypts files with a passphrase you choose. We cannot recover a forgotten passphrase or your files, and browsers can clear stored data. Keeping an exported backup is your responsibility.

Your files stay yours

We do not receive, own, or claim any rights in the files you open in the tools. You keep all rights in your content.

Our content and licenses

The CFETI name, design, and code belong to Korerium LLC. Third-party data used by the tools, including GeoNames, Time Zone Boundary Builder, and Natural Earth, remains under its own licenses, which are credited on the Your data page.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Korerium LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the site or tools. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, which for these free tools is zero.

Changes

We may update these terms and the tools from time to time. The effective date above shows when this page last changed. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Louisiana.
